Investigators searched Friday for whoever shot and killed a man in Long Beach.
Police officers responded around 9:50 p.m. Thursday to a call of a shooting that had just occurred in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Avenue and found a man shot at least once, according to Lt. G. Prieto of the Long Beach Police Department. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Homicide detectives are conducting interviews, Prieto said, but no suspect information is immediately available.
