A man believed to be in his early 20s was wounded Monday in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

The shooting was reported at midnight outside 6121 South 10th Ave., Sgt. Rick Rodgers of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station said.

“A guy was standing in front and a car pulled up and fired shots at him,” Rodgers said. The victim was wounded twice in one leg and once in one buttock.

The victim was taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, he said.

The suspect remains at large and no suspect information was available, Rodgers said.
