A 16-year-old unlicensed driver was arrested Thursday afternoon after he crashed a car in Norwalk and fled the scene.
The boy, whose was not name was not released, crashed the car into another vehicle about 1 p.m. near Alondra and Norwalk boulevards, according to Lt. Tenaya Brown of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Norwalk Station.
Neither the boy or the occupant of the other car was injured.
The boy fled the scene in the car, and officers pursued him until he pulled over a half-mile away, near Hayford Street and Clarkdale Avenue, where deputies were able to take the boy into custody, Brown said.
