The coroner’s office Monday identified a 29-year-old woman who was shot to death in Pomona.
The shooting was reported about 10 a.m. Saturday at a residence in the 800 block of West Orange Grove Avenue, near the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, according to Pomona Police Department Sgt. Edgard Padilla.
Officers arrived at the scene and located Samantha Lancaster of Pomona suffering from gunshot wounds.
“L.A. County Fire personnel treated the victim at the scene but she succumbed to her injuries,” Padilla said.
