A 29-year-old man was shot dead and a 17-year-old girl was critically wounded while they were seated in a car during a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting Saturday morning in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at about 12:25 a.m. in the area of 66th Street and Denker Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victims were seated in a vehicle, when a motorist in another vehicle drove up and fired shots before driving away, police said.
The 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and paramedics rushed the girl to an area hospital.
No further information was immediately released.
