A brush fire that scorched about 11 acres in the Angeles National Forest was 90% contained Thursday.
The fire was first reported about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads near the Bouquet Reservoir.
Bouquet Canyon Road was closed from Vasquez Canyon Road to Spunky Canyon Road. The roadway was reopened about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Angeles National Forest officials.
On Wednesday afternoon, about 10 homes in that area had been ordered evacuated, but the order was lifted later that night.
