A fire erupted Tuesday in a Meadowbrook mobile home, engulfing the structure and threatening others before firefighters gained the upper hand.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 4:30 p.m. in the 25000 block of Sadie Drive, near Margarth Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Responding crews found the single-wide mobile home “fully involved with multiple (exterior) exposures.”
Firefighters deployed around the residence and prevented the flames from jumping into the vegetation or damaging other structures.
As of 5 p.m., crews were making progress knocking the fire down.
It was unclear whether the property was occupied.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
