A firefighter was injured Saturday while battling a fire that demolished a home in Lancaster, authorities said.
Paramedics rushed the firefighter to a hospital and his condition was not immediately known, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Firefighters dispatched at 12:31 a.m. Saturday to 44245 Calston Ave. had the blaze out at 12:59 a.m., the dispatcher said.
Four people were temporarily displaced as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire and damage estimates were under investigation.
