Six motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid driver’s license during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Commerce, authorities said Saturday.
A motorist was also arrested on suspicion of driving with suspended or revoked license during the checkpoint at Telegraph Road and Carrier Avenue that began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
The bureau also reported that 297 vehicles were contacted at the checkpoint.
