A death investigation was underway Thursday in Brea, police said.
Authorities went to Carbon Canyon Road and Olinda Drive on a report of a vehicle fire, the Brea Police Department reported around daybreak.
Carbon Canyon Road was closed in the area while the investigation was conducted. Information on the person’s identity or the circumstances of the death was not released.
