A fire scorched about one acre of brush in the Santa Clarita area Wednesday, but no structures were threatened.
Firefighters sent to the 28000 block of North Rio Norte Drive at about 9:25 a.m. quickly contained the flames, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. Some firefighters remained on the scene dousing hot spots.
