A 74-year-old man who went missing in the Santa Monica area, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue a Silver Alert, has been found, authorities said Monday.
The CHP issued the alert on behalf of the Santa Monica Police Department last week in the search for Carlos Zertuche. Authorities said he had last been seen around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday near 21st Street and Santa Monica Boulevard.
CHP officials announced Monday that the Silver Alert had been canceled and Zertuche was found. No other details were released.
