One person was killed in a traffic collision Sunday on the westbound Riverside (10) Freeway in Indio, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported at 2:05 a.m. involving a silver Toyota Camry that was found facing west, just under the Jefferson and Indio boulevard over crossing.
Witnesses said debris and a guardrail were blocking the No. 3 lane.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 2:24 a.m. for the Jefferson Street onramp to the westbound 10 Freeway and the freeway’s No. 3 lane while the investigation continued.
All lanes reopened at 5:45 a.m.
