A man in his 30s was fatally shot Thursday in the Florence-Graham area of Los Angeles, and an investigation was underway.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the intersection of East 77th Street and South Central Avenue at about 5:10 p.m. Thursday to a report of an injured, unresponsive man lying in the roadway.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
The victim’s identity was being withheld by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner pending notification of relatives.
Detectives were conducting an ongoing investigation Thursday evening.
