Police sought the public’s assistance Thursday in identifying the man suspected of stealing a classic Chevrolet Corvette in West Los Angeles.
West Los Angeles Division officers responded to the 12200 block of Olympic Boulevard, between Bundy Drive and Centinela Avenue, around 8:40 p.m. Sept. 4 regarding a trespassing individual at a commercial building, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect entered an unlocked light blue 1958 Chevrolet Corvette with Rhode Island license plate 1KJ358 at the location and fled in an unknown direction. Investigators described him as a white man between 20 and 30 years old, about 6-feet, 1-inch tall, last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, dark-colored shorts, gray and white shoes, a black backpack and carrying a skateboard.
Anyone with information regarding the stolen vehicle suspect was urged to call the LAPD West Los Angeles Auto Detectives at 310-444-1503.
