A 25-year-old man described by witnesses as a security guard was shot and killed early Monday at a marijuana dispensary in East Los Angeles.
Witnesses called the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at about 2 a.m. to report that the security guard was shot in the 6100 block of Whittier Boulevard, near Hendricks Avenue, Deputy Tracy Koerner told City News Service.
The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Rafael Saldana.
