One person was rushed to a hospital Saturday after a shooting in Palm Springs, authorities said.
The shooting was reported around 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of N. Palm Canyon Drive, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers located two possible victims. One person suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg and was rushed to a hospital. It was not immediately clear if the second person was injured.
Investigators found that an altercation occurred between the two victims and others in the area. One of the involved individuals allegedly fire multiple rounds toward the two victims.
The suspects were allegedly seen fleeing eastbound through an alley. Officers conducted a search of the area and interviewed witnesses, but no additional information was obtained.
