The male rider of a mini-motorcycle was killed Monday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist in the Westlake area of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 1:43 a.m. at Olympic Boulevard and Arapahoe Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer D. Orris told City News Service.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, Orris said. He was described as a teenage juvenile or young adult.
A description of the vehicle was not available, he said.
