A man was fatally shot Wednesday in Long Beach.
Authorities responded to the 2200 block of Spaulding Street shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and found a man inside a parked vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Long Beach Fire Department personnel.
There was no description of a suspect, and investigators have not determined a motive leading up to the fatal attack.
