A 65-year-old woman who went missing from the East Hollywood area of Los Angeles has been found, authorities said Thursday.
Gloria Fuentes had last been seen around 12:30 p.m. Saturday on foot near the intersection of North Vermont and Lockwood avenues, south of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Silver Alert that had been put into effect was deactivated after she was located.
There were no details about how or where she was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
