The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert Sunday to help The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department locate a 79-year-old man who went missing from Temecula.
Jose Zavala De La Mora was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday at Winchester Road and Promenade Mall E, according to the CHP. He is believed to be on foot.
De La Mora is Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, wearing a green sweater, khaki pants, black shoes and was carrying a black bag.
Anyone who sees De La Mora or might know where he was urged to call 911.
The CHP issues Silver Alerts to help local law enforcement locate at-risk people who area 65 years of age or older and have developmental disabilities or are cognitively impaired.
