One person was fatally shot in Torrance and police Thursday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Officers at the Torrance Police Department received a shots fired call in the 23000 block of Huber Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the police department.
Torrance Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
The victim’s name, age and gender were not released.
The investigation is ongoing, police said. Witnesses with information regarding the shooting are asked to contact Torrance police at 310-328-3456.
