At least one person was injured in the Westlake District Tuesday morning in a shooting involving the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting was reported at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Olympic Boulevard and Alvarado Street, according to the LAPD.
As of early afternoon, details about what happened had not been disclosed by the department’s media relations unit, but a Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman said its personnel took a 42-year-old man to a hospital in at least serious condition.
Buses were being detoured around the area.
