A shooting occurred near a North Hills middle school Wednesday, possibly leaving a juvenile injured.
Officers responded at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday to the 15300 block of Plummer Street near Sepulveda Middle School to reports of a possible shooting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No other details were immediately available. Officer Jorge Herrera of the Los Angeles School Police Department said investigators were still gathering information, but the shooting “occurred off campus adjacent to Sepulveda Middle School.”
Media reports from the scene indicated that a juvenile victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. Video taken late Wednesday afternoon showed some parents gathering outside the campus.
There was no description of a possible suspect.
