A business was burglarized early Monday in Alhambra, prompting a perimeter search with a police dog, but no suspect was found.
The burglary was reported around 3 a.m. at an unnamed business near the 1800 block of Date Avenue, where the search appeared to be centered, according to a lieutenant at the Alhambra Police Department.
Officers were at the location going house to house with a search dog, but by 8:30 a.m. the perimeter, which spanned several blocks, was being broken down with the suspect or suspects still at large, the lieutenant said.
No description was available and investigators were waiting for the business to open to determine what, if anything, was taken, the watch commander said.
