A male victim was wounded Sunday by a suspect who fired on him from a vehicle in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred at 2:55 p.m. Sunday at 65th Place and Raymond Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The victim was standing in the residential neighborhood when a motorist drove up, the spokesman said. After an argument between the two, the driver fired a gun at the person, then drove away.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was listed with stable vital signs, the spokesman said.
