An investigation was underway Wednesday following a shooting involving at least one Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in Azusa, with reports that a suspect was injured.
Deputies responded at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 5500 block of North Orangecrest Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It was not immediately clear what exactly prompted the law enforcement response.
Reports from the scene indicated that a suspect was taken into custody, and possibly injured in the shooting.
It was unclear if any deputies were injured.
