Firefighters on foot helped two hikers make it to a safe place Saturday after they went off a trail in the Beverly Crest area and couldn’t get back.
The Los Angeles Fire Department learned of the mishap at 12:04 p.m. Saturday, in the area of 2300 N. Lake Drive, near Franklin Canyon Drive, according to LAFD spokesman Jamie Stewart.
Both hikers were evaluated by LAFD paramedics, Stewart said.
