A teenage man was fatally stabbed in East Rancho Dominguez Wednesday and a person of interest was detained, authorities said.
The stabbing was reported at about 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 15200 block of South Butler Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The 19-year-old victim was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital, the sheriff’s department reported.
With a person of interest detained, investigators said there is no threat to the community.
