A Silver Alert was in effect in Los Angeles and Orange counties Saturday for an 80-year-old woman last seen in Anaheim.
Susan Alexander was last seen at about noon Friday near Camellia Street and Embassy Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Friday on behalf of the Anaheim Police Department.
Alexander was described as a 5-foot-1-inch-tall woman weighing 110 pounds with red hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
Authorities said they believed Alexander is traveling on foot.
Anyone with information regarding Alexander’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person has gone missing and is determined to be at risk to help locate them more quickly.
