Two cars and a Metro bus were involved in a collision in Reseda Friday, sending six people to the hospital.

Crews responded about 9:45 a.m. Friday to the area of 18300 West Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Images from the scene showed one vehicle against the back of the bus, which was near the curb at a bus stop at the intersection of Sherman Way and Etiwanda Avenue. Another smashed vehicle was also visible a short distance from the rear of the bus.

Seven people were evaluated at the scene. Six of them were taken to a hospital, the LAFD reported.

The crash occurred a day after a community vigil was held in nearby Chatsworth following a fatal collision on Tuesday that killed two people aboard a Metro bus. Shortly after that tragedy, a news helicopter sent to cover the story plunged from the sky and killed both the pilot and a reporter as well as one person on the ground.
