Miley Cyrus will return to episodic TV for the first time since her “Hannah Montana” days when she stars with 83-year-old comedy legend Elaine May in a Woody Allen series.

Allen wrote and and will direct six half-hour episodes set in the 1060s, with production said to begin in March.
“Hannah Montana” ran for four seasons from 2006 to January 2011. Cyrus, 23, had grown out of that bubblegum age.
Now comes the snark.
Miley is dodging texts from Wayne Coyne today like “I thought I was ur only dirty old man, why you gonna go and Woody Allen me?”

Woody Allen has cast Miley Cyrus to star with him in his new TV series. All that’s known is she’ll be playing his daughter or wife or both.
