When The Boston Globe published an imagined series of Donald Trump presidency stories Saturday — in a front page dated April 9, 2017 — its target didn’t seem to appreciate it.

An accompanying editorial, titled “The GOP must stop Trump,” called its front page “an exercise in taking a man at his word.”
The editorial added: “His vision of America promises to be as appalling in real life as it is in black and white on the page. It is a vision that demands an active and engaged opposition. It requires an opposition as focused on denying Trump the White House as the candidate is flippant and reckless about securing it.”
Trump supporters panned the parody. Others hailed the spoof.
When you the Boston Globe make a fictitious issue with dire ‘President Trump’ headlines, thats a sign they fear Trump bringing real change

Trump calls @BostonGlobe “stupid.” He says today’s fake front page is “really no different from the whole paper” https://t.co/AuQkfvB70q
