“The Office” goes into the woods when Ricky Gervais turns to the camera more often than he turns to a comely gypsy with a come-hither look.

As The Hollywood Reporter tells it, “Gervais returns as the failed middle-manager whose somewhat delusional rock star aspirations take him on a concert tour of the U.K.
“To get fans in the mood for Brent’s big-screen musical debut, distributor eOne has released a video for a new song called ‘Lady Gypsy,’ featuring Gervais in full folk-musician mode, with what appear to be high-waisted Robin Hood-style trousers and even a little neckerchief as he stalks a woman in an autumnal woods.”
Starts out serious, ends up hilarious.
More from YouTube description: “The film catches up with Brent twelve years on from the BBC mockumentary ‘The Office’ to find he is now a travelling salesman with Lavichem, a cleaning and ladies’ personal hygiene products company.
“However, he hasn’t given up on his dream of rock stardom and is about to embark on a self-financed UK tour with his band, Foregone Conclusion.”
