Two years before the deadly terrorist bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, Miley Cyrus and Grande sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over” together, and the lyrics offered a kind of spooky warning of horrific things to come.

The Crowded House song ends:

When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won’t win

Don’t let them win (hey now, hey now, hey now, hey now)
Hey now, hey now
Don’t let them win (they come, they come)
Don’t let them win (hey now, hey now, hey now, hey now)

So to show solidarity with bombing victims and her fellow TV-star-as-a-youngster, Cyrus dedicated her performance of “Malibu” on “The Voice” to Grande.

The Daily Mail noted how Miley on Tuesday had shared a picture of herself and Grande snuggled up in onesies.

Miley captioned the picture: “Wishing I could give my friend @arianagrande a great big hug right now… love love love you …. so sorry you had to be apart of such a tragic event!

“My most sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by this horrific attack! all I can do is send as much HOPE & PEACE your way! This MUST end! No more war …. no more innocent lives taken …. L-O-V-E .”
