Michael Strahan’s NFL career led to “a fistful of mangled fingers,” in one account. Now the “Good Morning America” host is getting attention for his left little finger.

“Lost a little bit of my pinky,” Strahan told co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos after missing Tuesday’s show.

But America is asking: How was the pinky hurt, and when did he hurt it?

“The former New York Giant did not reveal how he suffered the injury, but based on the jokes coming from fellow hosts, Strahan appeared to be in good spirits about the incident,” said the New York Daily News. “He appeared next to Roberts … with a bandage wrapped around his left pinky.”

It only added to Strahan’s legend of strangely bent fingers.

At a Knicks-Raptors NBA game last year, the Hall of Famer sat next to “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and showed off his bizarrely angled fingers, leading to a tweeted picture getting wide circulation again.
