Mariah Carey will debut the first single from her new album on next month’s American Music Awards, the show’s producers announced Tuesday.
The top-selling female recording artist of all time will perform the song, titled “With You,” on the Oct. 9 show, which bills itself as the “world’s biggest fan-voted award show,”
In addition to Carey’s performance, the show will also include a collaboration from producer and songwriter Benny Blanco with multi-platinum artist Halsey and global superstar Khalid. They will join previously announced performers Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Carrie Underwood.
Emmy nominated actress Tracee Ellis Ross will return to host and executive produce the 2018 American Music Awards, which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Ross, the daughter of music legend Diana Ross, hosted the AMAs for the first time last year. She has received multiple Emmy nods for her work on ABC’s “black-ish.” The role has also earned her a Golden Globe award for best actress in a comedy series and a trio of NAACP Image Awards.
