All adoption fees will be waived Saturday for active-duty military personnel and veterans at Riverside County’s three animal shelters.
The fee-waived adoptions will be offered at:
- The Coachella Valley Animal Campus at 72050 Pet Land Place in Thousand Palms, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus at 581 S. Grand Avenue in San Jacinto, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- And the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter at 6851 Van Buren Blvd. in Jurupa Valley, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The adoption special applies to any dog or cat, which will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Those seeking to adopt dogs will still need to prepare to buy a $17 license if they live within Riverside County’s jurisdiction.
