A deputy-involved shooting in Lancaster Thursday left a man wounded.

The shooting occurred about 5:25 a.m. in the 600 block of West Avenue H-12, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The wounded man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. No deputies were injured.

Other details of the shooting were not immediately released.
