Firefighters Thursday were working to extinguish a fire that blackened about 10 acres of brush near the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in the Agua Dulce area.
The fire was reported shortly after noon near Agua Dulce Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. No structures were threatened.
The Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of the southbound 14 Freeway were closed in the area as a precaution, the CHP reported.
