A 73-year-old man who suffers from an undisclosed medical condition has been found, prompting cancellation of a Silver Alert issued earlier Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol reported about 9:20 p.m. that Armando Herrera had been found. Additional details were not provided.
Herrera was reported missing after having last been seen about 9:30 p.m. Monday on Hibiscus Street near Avenida De La Merced in Montebello, according to the CHP.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled and cognitively impaired individuals, according to the California Highway Patrol.
