The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose eight-tenths of a cent Monday to $5.152, a day after it increased 1.3 cents and its 14th consecutive increase.
The average price is 11.4 cents more than one week ago, 28.8 cents more than one month ago and 28.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.342 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price also rose for the 14th consecutive day, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $5.115. It is 12.7 cents more than one week ago, 29 cents more than one month ago and 29.4 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.344 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.536. It is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 20.5 cents more than one month ago and 3.2 cents more than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.48 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
