An Endangered Missing Advisory issued for an 8-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by a 36-year-old man sharing the same last name in East Los Angeles was deactivated Wednesday.

Aizen Sanchez had been last seen with Decky Sanchez at 4 p.m. Sunday near Northside Drive and Easton Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Tuesday on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities identified Sanchez as a suspect in Aizen’s disappearance.

Both Aizen and Sanchez have since been located, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies did not disclose whether Sanchez was taken into custody in connection with Aizen’s disappearance, and they did not provide details about when or where the two were located.

The CHP issues an Endangered Missing Advisory to help locate a child or other endangered person who has been abducted or is unable to care for themselves and whose safety is believed to be in danger.
