A Wells Fargo branch in Santa Ana was robbed Wednesday by a man wearing a gray beanie and sweatpants.
The bank branch at 3925 S. Bristol St. was robbed just after noon, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
The suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash, Bertagna said. He did not show a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as black, about 25 to 31 years old and 5-foot- 7, Bertagna said.
