Two men pleaded not guilty and a woman was charged Friday in the killing of a man in Buena Park.

Ramona Tinisha Acuna, 32, was charged with murder. Frank Golob Avalos, 32, and Manuel Morales, 21, pleaded not guilty to murder, with the charge including a sentencing enhancement for the discharge of a gun causing death, according to court records.

Avalos and Morales were being held on $1 million bail and were ordered to return to court April 24.

Authorities have been tight-lipped about releasing details of the investigation or what motivated the March 15 killing of 39-year-old Richard Alexander Salazar of San Gabriel.

Morales and Avalos were arrested March 22 and Acuna was arrested Wednesday, according to jail records.

Buena Park police on March 21 released surveillance video of three suspects wanted in connection with Salazar’s shooting.

Police said at that time they were looking for Acuna, who they said on Facebook was “known to frequent motels throughout Orange County.”

Police were called to an apartment complex in the 7500 block of Franklin Avenue at 5:10 a.m. March 15, Sgt. Mike Lovchik said. The victim was pronounced dead inside an apartment.
