A motorcyclist was killed Monday in a solo vehicle crash on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Laguna Hills, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 2:33 a.m. on the southbound Santa Ana Freeway at La Paz Road, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
Information was not immediately available on the identity or gender of the fatally injured motorcyclist.
The southbound freeway lanes were closed for about two hours while an investigation was conducted.
