The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.65, its highest amount since June 23.

The average price is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, 18.3 cents more than one month ago and 4.3 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.843 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose for the 16th time in the last 17 days, increasing 1.4 cents to $4.632, its highest amount since June 4. It is 3.9 cents more than one week ago, 21.8 cents more than one month ago and 9.5 cents more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.826 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price fell four-tenths of a cent to $3.20. It is eight-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 3 cents more than one month ago, but 9.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.816 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
