The average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline in Riverside County rose 1.2 cents Sunday to $4.265, its second consecutive increase after dropping to its lowest amount since July 5, 2021.
The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, but 6.1 cents less than one month ago and 25.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.108 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The average price per kilowatt hour of electricity at public electric vehicle charging stations in California is 37.1 cents.
The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.042. It is 1.9 cents more than one week ago, but 1.6 cents less than one month ago and 8.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.974 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
