The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped one-tenth of a cent Friday to $4.664, a day after rising three-tenths of a cent.
The average price has increased 27.6 cents over the past 19 days, including one-tenth of a cent Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 1.7 cents more than one week ago and 30.3 cents higher than one month ago but 1.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.709 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.162, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 3.6 cents higher than one month ago but 11.2 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.854 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
