The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County ticked up three-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.816, the second day in a row it rose three-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 13.1 cents more than one week ago and 24.9 cents more than one month ago, but 41.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.557 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.259, a day after dropping four-tenths of a cent and ending two days of consecutive decreases.
It is 9.1 cents more than one week ago and 15.3 cents more than one month ago, but 33.4 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.757 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
